Our Mighty+ Medic Medical Device is the most common choice for Patients Vaporizing Medicinal Cannabis in NZ. It's our premium portable device.
To expensive? We have an alternative: If you want a portable with hybrid performance but just can't afford it we have an alternative, our G Pen Elite II, which is a cheaper and much smaller Medical Vaporizer we sell and is a top performing hybrid portable. First landed in NZ: July 2025. We also sell an even smaller certified Medical Vaporizer, the OLEO Panacea which is a very popular choice due to it's small size and low cost.
It's an interesting device, you can set the temp to roughly 395 Deg F and leave it there, the harder you draw on the vape the hotter it gets! Draw too hard and it could even combust. Try it out by monitoring the heat with your lungs instead of the temp switch on the vape. Food for thought. The best way to start off with a fresh oven load is to start as low as possible, (around 385 F) then slowly bump the heat up 5-10 deg at a time until you have a nice balance of vapor that isn't too hot. If you do find it too hot or it's irritating your throat you may want to look at our Water Bubblers and Adapters, vaping through water is much cooler and easier on the throat.
Last but not least, if you don't have enough money for one of these Medical Vaporizers we recommend waiting and saving for one so you can start off with a really decent, if not the best vaporizer on the market. It's well worth saving for. You will actually save money if you start off with a top device because you won't need to upgrade it for many years. - Which device is best for new users? The Oleo Panacea and the G Pen Elite 2 are more basic and very easy to operate, they both work very well. The Mighty+ Medic does it all and is also a really simple device to operate. All certified device options are suitable to be honest, we do recommend the Mighty+ Medic if you can afford one as it is a premium device, it does it all plus we stock a vast range of related accessories for it in Auckland.
- Who is this device best suited for? Everyone, if you can afford a Mighty+ Medic we highly recommend purchasing one. Experienced vapers adore the Mighty+ Medic but it is still a great first vape due to the performance and quality.
- What device is best for portability? The Oleo Panacea is the smallest certified Medical Vaporizer we sell and easily fits in your jeans pocket.
- Which certified device is the best bang for your buck? The Oleo and the Elite 2 are both great options and are considerably cheaper to purchase, both are great value. The Mighty+ Medic is more expensive but it will out perform most other vapes and is a premium device. Yes it's expensive but you will get an incredible vaporizer for your money!
- Which device is the premium option? The Storz & Bickel Mighty+ Medic portable and the Volcano Medic 2 desktop device, both by Storz & Bickel Germany.
- What makes each device different? Quality, size, performance and price. The Oleo Panacea is a tiny portable vape while the Mighty+ Medic is a large portable vape. The Elite 2 lies somewhere in between. All the certified Medical Vapes are Hybrid Vaporizers. This means they all have conduction and convection heating giving you impressive performance. If you are looking for endurance the Mighty+ Medic is by far the best, it has 2x 18650 batteries.

- What happens if you have an issue with your device? The only thing you need to do is drop us an email and we will do the rest. If your device is still under warranty (each page displays warranty periods) we will immediately contact the NZ based supplier for your brand and arrange for them to contact you directly and arrange a replacement device or a fix. We don't muck about when it comes to this, we understand that once your vape stops working you need to get it sorted asap. Interesting Facts about owning a Certified Medical Vaporizer.
There are a few bonuses to owning a fully certified Medical Device for your Medicinal Cannabis medication. All non-certified Herbal Vapes are illegal to posses until you place your scripted Medical Cannabis in the device, then it becomes legal! It can no longer be considered a cannabis utensil under the misuse of drugs act. BUT, there are still limitations on where you can use these devices (if not certified as a Medical Device). You must use the non-certified Herbal Vape in private even though it is legal with your scripted Cannabis in the oven. If you purchased a Certified Medical Vaporizer (Elite 2, M+M, VM2) you can use it anywhere! Legally you can use it inside hospitals, even Smoke Free areas (with respect to other people nearby of course). Being a certified Medical Device it can be used in public. For example if you are using a PAX or Arizer or any other vape that is not certified in a hospital setting you could be told to not only go outside but actually go outside of the Hospital grounds to use it. If you had a certified one you could challenge them on using it from your hospital bed. Medical Devices are in a different category to regular vapes and have different rules.
