Disassembly.

All the necessary tools for disassembling your Mighty Medic+ dry herb vaporizer are included with the device.

1. Start by removing the cooling unit located at the top of the vaporizer. Unscrew it until it loosens, then remove it.
2. Next, take off the mouthpiece by rotating it from side to side until it becomes loose. Once it's loose, pop it off and remove the blue seal ring surrounding it.
3. Unlock the Cap Lock by pushing it to one side and pulling up on the other side. This will separate the top of the cooling unit from the base, revealing two blue seal rings.
4. Use the Filling Chamber tool to carefully remove these rings and pop out the chamber screen.
5. To remove the lower screen within the Filling Chamber, use the Filling Chamber tool again. Poke down on the screen to create dents until it pops out from the sides of the chamber.

Soaking the Parts.

Soak the removable parts in Isopropyl alcohol. Do not soak the Cap Lock (the part with the Mighty logo) or the seal rings. The other parts should be soaked for up to 30 minutes to remove any dry herb debris. Soaking for longer may cause discoloration or make the parts brittle.

While these parts are soaking, take a cotton swab soaked in Isopropyl alcohol to clean the Filling Chamber (Oven). Be careful not to over-soak the cotton swab to avoid dripping liquid into the device, which could damage the heating elements. It’s best to clean the chamber while holding the Mighty Medic+ upside down, preventing excess alcohol from entering the device.

Reassembly.

1. Insert a new screen into the Filling Chamber and secure it by pressing down with the filling tool.
2. After soaking, rinse the other parts with warm water and dry them thoroughly.
3. Reassemble your device in reverse order.

Before using your clean Mighty Medic+ again, ensure that any remaining alcohol has been eliminated by running a few burn-off cycles. Set the Mighty Medic+ to the maximum temperature and allow it to run through a couple of cycles until the smell of alcohol dissipates. Once this is done, your Mighty Medic+ is clean and ready for use!

Base Station.

  • To clean the base station, use a dry or damp cloth to remove any marks or smudges. Avoid using liquid or abrasive cleaners.
  • Next, check the Air Filter located at the bottom of the base station. If it appears dirty or if you notice any airflow issues, it may be time to replace it.
  • Additionally, it’s a good idea to occasionally flip the base station over to shake out any bits of dry herb that might have fallen inside.

Filling Chamber.

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the Filling Chamber is vital to the performance of the Volcano Medic 2.
  • Start by twisting the Filling Chamber apart, separating it into the Filling Chamber and Cap Housing. Use the end of the supplied brush to push down into the Cap Housing and pop out the screen. Remove the Silicone O-ring from the Cap Cylinder and set it aside.
  • Next, push the metal Cap Cylinder down through the Cap Housing. Then, push the screen up and out from the bottom half of the Filling Chamber. Similarly, push the Filling Chamber Cylinder up and out.

Soaking or Washing.

Set aside the silicone rings and any plastic parts, soaking them in warm, soapy water. The remaining pieces of the Filling Chamber can be placed directly into Isopropyl alcohol for up to 30 minutes. After soaking, ensure to rinse them well in warm water and let them dry completely before use.

Reassembly.

To reassemble, first slide the Cap Cylinder into the Cap Housing until it locks in place. Then, slide the Silicone O-ring back over the Cap Cylinder up to the Cap Housing.

Insert the upper screen into the Cap Cylinder from below and ensure it locks securely in the designated notch. Be careful during this step, as incorrect placement may allow herb particles to enter the Valve Balloon or Tube, which can be inhaled.

Next, push the Filling Chamber Cylinder into the Filling Chamber Housing and allow it to lock in place. Insert the screen or the Drip Pad into the Filling Chamber from above, and then screw the Filling Chamber Cap onto the Filling Chamber in a clockwise direction.

Storz & Bickel Parts NZ

The Herb Mill and Magazine should not be placed in Isopropyl alcohol. Clean these parts with warm water. Using Dosing Capsules can help prevent the build-up of oven gunk, and they can be prepared and stored in their Magazine or Caddy. If they have any build up in them you can give them a soak in some ISO. They are supposed to be One-Time-Use but if you are gentle with them (they are soft alloy) you can clean and use them many times. We sell Liquid and Dry Dosing Capsules in all the different packages including Singles, in a Magazine, in a Caddy plus we also have the 40 Piece Filling sets. We also have aftermarket Gold Dosing capsules, identical to the silver ones but a shiny golden finish.

Do not immerse any plastic components in alcohol for longer than half an hour. Prolonged contact with Isopropyl alcohol can cause changes in color or make the plastic parts brittle.
