We import them for use in Glass Stems to provide extra cooling with the Mighty+ Medic Glass Adapter. Make sure you secure your Rubies in place as you certainly don't want to inhale Ruby Pearls into your lungs, the Yllvape Stem Plugs are the best and safest way to make a cooling stem with Rubies. You can pack the Fire Glass Stem with 4mm Ruby Balls and one Stem Plug.

We like to sell our Rubies in clear acrylic tubes so you have a place to safely store them and you don't have to buy too many. The Free Tube can be used as a stash tube in your vape kit, it's perfect for cases tight on space. Your Ruby Balls will become sticky and dirty from vaping just like your bong or bubbler. You can pour or spray some ISO into your stem or bubbler to free up your Ruby Balls, remove them and put them back in the acrylic tube with some ISO, shake lightly back and forward to give them a decent clean. Lay on a paper towel to dry and they should be pretty clean again.

Our Ruby Balls can be used for cooling, the more cool Ruby Balls that your vapor has to travel around the cooler it gets. Packing your glass mouthpiece stems with these Ruby Terp Balls is a great way to add more cooling to your vape, especially if you have a Hybrid or Convection vape (Mighty+ Medic) that tends to have quite warm/hot vapor due to the convection/hot air. Packing your glass stems on the Mighty+ Glass Adapter is super easy. Buy some Stem Plugs that have filters in them into each end of your stem of choice with your Ruby Terp Balls packed inside. There are different sizes of Ruby Balls, we have found the 3mm, 4mm and 6mm ones are best in the mouthpiece stems. Most vapes that have Ruby Balls in the oven use 3mm or 4mm.

Remember that the more balls you put in a stem the cooler it gets but it also restricts the airflow if you jam too many small balls into a stem. You may like the resistance, that's half the fun setting up these stems to your preference, there is no right or wrong way to do it, set it up for you! 3mm and 4mm Balls are fantastic in stems, you can fill just half the stem to help with the draw resistance, play around with ball sizes and amounts and you will find that sweet spot where it feels just right to draw on and you are getting some extra cooling.

How do Ruby Balls made from a form of Corundum absorb heat better than glass?

Ruby Balls, made from synthetic corundum (Alumina), absorb heat differently than glass due to their material properties.

• Thermal Conductivity: Ruby (corundum) has a higher thermal conductivity compared to typical glass. This means it can transfer heat more efficiently, allowing for quicker cooling of the vapor as it passes over the surface.
• Heat Capacity: The specific heat capacity of ruby is generally lower than that of glass, meaning it can reach a higher temperature more quickly without retaining heat for long periods. This property helps to cool the vapor more effectively as it interacts with the ruby balls.
• Surface Area: The smooth, hard surface of ruby provides a larger effective surface area for heat exchange compared to glass, enhancing the cooling effect as vapor spreads out over the ruby’s surface.

These factors combine to make ruby balls effective at absorbing and dissipating heat, resulting in cooler, smoother vapor when used in vaporizers. Overall, ruby balls enhance the vaporization experience by providing a more enjoyable session. For us we found that the straight glass stems (like the stock plastic mouthpiece but not as hot) on the Mighty+ Medic are too aggravating to the throat, too dry and hot. When packed with Ruby Balls it takes the edge off, we found we can now use straight glass stems with Rubies and it's much more tolerable than without them.

You certainly won't get the same results using Quartz Balls or regular glass, Ruby is the way to go! 👍
