Pax Oven Screens don't wear out, they are usually broken when removing if baked in and stuck or they are lost. The Pax screen sits in the bottom of the Pax Vape oven, it flexes slightly and locks into place well. Your herb is then loaded on top of the Pax Screen. Air is drawn into the oven area and it then makes it's way through your herb, under the screen and up the airway. The screens prevent herb traveling up the airway and also aid in heating your herb from the hot oven walls, typical conduction heating.
